Bupa

Loving the simplicity of the Bupa adverts at the moment. A gentle way to introduce a complicated, upsetting topic using bold colours and basic graphics. It says all the initial information in small chunks so it is easier for the audience to digest and come to terms with.

Katie Sokoler: Color Me Katie

Absolutely loving the bright, colour work of Katie Sokoler. Enough to put a smile on anyone's face and brighten up any day. Small colourful installations to inject a bit of fun into people's days have made a huge impact. Lifted my mood today straight away when I saw this, consider this as an approach to take for my current project? I think so...!

Diesel: Be Stupid

Loving the new advertising campaign from Diesel. Full campaign can be found here. Extremely eye-catching and sparking an interest means a successful advertisement. Big, bold typography that tells a story and can be adapted to be given a personality contributes greatly.

Maria Yasko

Came across this work by Maria Yasko which I find amazing! It's like making imagination into reality and would love this in my house. A really interesting use of interpretation. More can be found here.

From Keetra: Photobooth

A stunning piece of work fromKeetra. I think it's a really interesting, artistic way to try and communicate people's personalities and thoughts - something I could really apply to my current project. These images were made through an installation where people would enter, pose for two shots, and leave. The outcome would end up like these examples depending on the person and create a playful way of analysing people. Lovely piece of work. More examples can be found here.

Rethink Scholarship

This video demonstration is great! I love the interactivity and thought process that has gone behind it to advertise scholarships, it's motivating and inspirational and makes me want to produce something like that too. The video shown above is the call for 2010 entries. More examples can be found here.

Patrick Fry: Naughty or Nice

Patrick Fry's project Naughty or Nice is simple but effective. It is something everyone can relate to through to use of a simple object to represent the words. It would be good to see this project extended further to see a range of things, however as a starting point this is nice.
